EMPOWERING YOUNG DEAF AND HARD OF HEARING GIRLS
IN RURAL KENYA, AFRICA,
ACCESS BASIC EDUCATION AND
FAITH-BASED MENTORING.
We envision a world where girls and women who are deaf and hard of hearing are academically, economically, and civically empowered, living fully into the purpose God has placed within them. A world where their God-given worth is recognized, their voices are valued, and their abilities are nurtured—not limited—by society. Guided by our Christian faith, we believe that every girl is created with gifts meant to bless her family, community, and nation. Our vision is one where deaf girls are not hidden or overlooked, but equipped through education, mentorship, and spiritual formation to walk confidently in their calling.
In this future, girls and women who are deaf and hard of hearing are able to pursue education, meaningful work, and leadership opportunities, becoming active participants in civic life and advocates for justice and inclusion. They are empowered not only to overcome barriers, but to transform communities through resilience, integrity, and faith. At the heart of our vision is a commitment to Christ-centered compassion, stewardship, and service—building a society where no girl is left behind, and where opportunity, dignity, and hope are extended to all.

We have successfully graduated ten girls from rural deaf high schools in Kenya—a significant milestone that reflects our commitment to empowering girls with disabilities through education and sustained support. In the 2024/2025 school year, we enrolled four additional students in a local high school, expanding access to quality learning environments where they can grow academically and socially.
Two of our scholars are currently pursuing higher education at a vocational technical college, where they are developing practical skills to prepare for meaningful careers and independent futures. Notably, one of our program graduates (pictured left) has completed college and now serves as an Elementary Teacher for the Deaf within the county government. In this role, she is not only educating and advocating for children with hearing impairments but also standing as a powerful role model for young deaf girls and the wider community.
Her journey embodies the ripple effect of education—demonstrating how investing in one girl can transform families, communities, and systems, while advancing a more inclusive future for deaf individuals in Kenya.
