Walking With Our Deaf Girls, Witnessing Hope in Action

In August 2026, Elimisha Binti Initiative will be returning home to Kenya for a special mission trip to visit the deaf and hard-of-hearing girls we serve in rural communities. This trip is more than a visit—it is a sacred opportunity to walk alongside our girls, witness their growth firsthand, and reaffirm our commitment to their education, faith, and future.

During this journey, our team will spend intentional time with the students and their families, visit partner schools, and engage with local educators and community leaders. We will listen to the girls’ stories, celebrate their academic progress, and encourage them as they continue to rise against the odds. For many of our students, these visits are powerful reminders that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved.

What We Hope to Accomplish

📚 School Visits & Student Check-Ins – Spend time in classrooms and dormitories, ensuring our girls have the support they need to thrive academically and socially.

🤝 Mentorship & Encouragement – Offer faith-centered mentorship, prayer, and life-skills conversations rooted in dignity and hope.

🏡 Family & Community Engagement – Meet families and caregivers, strengthening relationships that sustain our girls beyond the classroom.

📖 Spiritual Fellowship – Share devotion, worship, and encouragement, reminding our girls that their identity is anchored in Christ and not limited by disability.
